Privacy Policy

Cognitive Wellness ("we", "us") provides a cognitive-support app for adults living with memory loss or dementia, and their caregivers. We take your privacy seriously, especially because the app handles health-adjacent information.
What we collect
- Account data: email address, name (if provided), and authentication identifiers from sign-in providers (Apple, Google).
- Health-adjacent data you enter: medications and dosage logs, appointments, emergency contacts, personal notes, daily routine items, self-screening responses.
- Photos and audio: photos you add to your Memory Book and voice notes you record, stored in your private cloud folder.
- Location: approximate location (city level) used only to fetch local weather, never stored.
- Usage data: the days you opened the app, used to manage your free trial.
How we use it
Only to provide the features you see in the app. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with third parties except the infrastructure providers that store it on our behalf (Supabase / Cloudflare).
Caregiver sharing
If you invite a caregiver, they will only see data you explicitly choose to share with them.
Your rights
- Export: the Settings page provides a printable summary of your data.
- Delete: you can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete my account. This is permanent.
- Contact: email carrott2026@gmail.com for any privacy question.
Children
This app is not intended for children under 13.
Not a medical service
Cognitive Wellness is not a medical device, not a diagnostic tool, and does not provide medical advice. Always consult a qualified physician for diagnosis or treatment.
